Website back up!

Homework Updates for end of week Friday September 24th

Hello my children..my apologies for the HW mix ups earlier this week (my cold has gotten the best of me) Here are the clarifications: Reading Plus: you must have 6 by end of next Friday4,6 you must complete your Utopia/Dystopia Drawings and bring in your 5 cut outs of antagonist/protagonist faces and bring to class on Tuesday. On Monday 1,3, and 5th you will be assigned the same thing. 1,3,5 start wrapping up LBIU (as should 4,6) Have a fabulous weekend!

Homework Updates Week of September 20th 2010

Periods 1,5 reminder your grammar homework is due on Thursday.
Period 4,6 Vocabulary Maps (List 3) are due on Friday
Period 1,3,5 Vocabulary Maps (List 3) are due on Friday
You should be up to chpt 25 (at least in LBIU) You should also have 5 journal reflection entries completed. I am sorry I have taken so long to post..as you all know I have been, and still am sickie poo. Please e-mail with any questions :)

LBIU Updates and Homework Assignments!

Hey kids! Hope you are having a wonderful week. I would like to tell you all, that it was an absolute pleasure to meet most of your parents!

Some clarifications: I have fixed the link to the LBIU study questions, so if you have not had the opportunity to give me your jump drive, they are now available.

A couple of you were asking how to make new blanks for your reading maps:

1. Right click and save pic of map
2. Open Microsoft Word
3. Insert Pic
4. Copy and paste as many as you need on sheet or keep inserting pic (you can resize to your liking:)

Homework: Part 2 Vocabulary Maps (5 of them from second list)are due on Monday for 1,4,6
and Tuesday for 3,5

Reading Plus 2 Sessions by Friday (You are hopefully up to four sessions)
Disable cookies and pop ups to download Java

By Monday, Tuesday you should have read up to Chapter 22 in LBIU
You should also have Readers Reflections done in your journal for Chapters: 1-2,3-8,13-14, and 18-22. Remember it is writing through a third person voice of one of the characters.

Your grammar homework, based on your diagnostic performance is due on Wednesday for 1,4,6 and Thursday for 3,5

Homework for the weekend..

Hey Kids..Over the weekend make sure to study for your Vocabulary quizes (we reviewed w 2,46, and on Monday we will with 1,3,5,7. Your quiz will be on Tuesday for 2,4,6 and Wednesday for 1,3,5,7. Please bring your jump drives to class (if you have not already) so I may put the LBIU study questions on it for you ( I have been having problems with my link to it) Make sure you read chapters 9-12 in LBIU by Monday and up to chapter 14th by Tuesday. Those of you who have the questions..please use them to help you study each chapter and begin formulating your notes in cornell note taking format.

LBIU Guided Reading Response Questions

Hello my wonderful students! I have added a pdf link to LBIU Guided Reading Response Questions. Theses are divided by chapter, and are intended to help you understand the book better. Ocassionally Mr. Hudson or myself will assign you a couple of them in small numbers. Use them to your advantage :) The link is located at top of links list..just above Cornell note taking suystems.
